Welcome! My name is Nadja and I’m so grateful you’re here!

I am a young mom of our girl Hannah, a wife and homemaker with all my heart and passionate about sharing all about our home, simple and wholesome living and what I learn as a new mom.

My husband and I married in 2020 in a beautiful church in the Swiss mountains, close to where I was raised. I truly believe that the Lord is blessing us to lead a life closer to nature and simplicity. So as newly weds we moved into a country home in the Netherlands. And not just any home! We live in a small windmill that still works to keep the land below see level dry.

In January of 2024 we were blessed with our first daughter Hannah. She is our little sunshine. A very awake and happy girl that soaks up all the little things around her like a sponge. It is truly amazing to be her mom.

I love gardening and our chicken because of the time it makes me spend in the outside. And of course because of the great food that comes with it!

Being new to homemaking and motherhood can be quite overwhelming at times. But I believe that we are called to be, wives, moms, homemakers that lead our family to a simple, wholesome live.

In this blog I share everything I learn as a young mom and homemaker and a little bit of homesteading and simple living along the way.
